Tab Trade — What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently in the works. That will round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.
Regulation
Here is the detail you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
